Overview
Operate terminal equipment, manage orders/inventory, load trucks, maintain plant gear, ensure safety.

Tasks
-Be accountable for results based on defined KPI’s. -Performs maintenance work on plant production and service equipment -Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. -Operates heavy equipment such as chain falls and come-along -Load Trucks, take sample from each silo pulling from that day and place samples in the designated area at end of each shift. -Unload rail cars and be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of that equipment notify manager of any safety or maintenance issues daily, welding repairs and fabrication. -Be responsible for opening and closing of terminal. -Performs electric arc welding -Performs maintenance duties following standard work instructions to ensure proper utilization -Receive and fill customer’s orders and arrange trucking for customer, if requested. -Operates computer systems for proper inventory control, to do daily inventory and various reports on computer during the month and reports to Terminal Manager. -Be responsible for tools and equipment assigned for performance of duties. -Operates equipment such as a Track-mobile, forklift, skid loader, and teleforker

What You Bring
-Prior cement plant experience or the equivalent to be familiar with all processes, locations and functions -Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests. -Knowledge of mechanic, replace defective parts of a machine, adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts. -Must pass Bennett Comprehension Test
