Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Overview

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair PVC pipe production equipment on 2nd shift.

Tasks

-logging performed maintenance work through either paper documentation or a CMMS -Installing replacement parts such as vacuum pumps, hydraulic pumps, and hydraulic hoses -Following industry best practices, SOP's, LOTO procedures, and other safety guidelines -Maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery -Using power tools and different hand tools to complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders -Installing and assembling new machines and equipment

What You Bring

-Experience with Cincinnati Milacron machines preferred -Strong mechanical aptitude -Experience with Theason Extruders preferred -Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, air and fluid valves, solenoids, motors, starters, breakers, pumps, material flow, limit switches, welding, and torches is a plus -Knowledge of plastics extrusion processing is a plus -At least one year of industrial maintenance experience preferred -Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing machine failures -Proven work experience with electrical and mechanical components -Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to diagnose and fix problems -Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. periodically throughout the day -Minimum high school diploma or equivalent -Ability to work Sunday - Thursday on 2nd shift -Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
