Senior Telecom Engineer

Senior telecom engineer designing and implementing ELV systems for oil & gas EPC projects.

Tasks

-Ensure compliance with project specifications, client standards, and international codes (IEC, ITU, NFPA, etc.). -Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, instrumentation, process, HSE) to ensure seamless system integration. -Perform technical evaluations, vendor document reviews, and system integration checks. -Lead the design and specification of telecom and ELV systems (CCTV, PAGA, access control, fiber optics, SCS, radio, etc.). -Prepare engineering deliverables such as specifications, datasheets, drawings, and cable schedules. -Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across teams. -Provide support during FAT, SAT, installation, testing, and commissioning phases. -Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and HAZOPs when required.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills. -Strong knowledge of telecom systems design, engineering standards, and integration practices. -Experience with major oil & gas clients and familiarity with their specifications. -Proficient in engineering tools and telecom design software. -Minimum 10 years of experience in telecom engineering for EPC oil & gas projects (onshore and offshore). -Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
