Tasks

-Responsible for oversight of a number of contractor crews -Will assist with field inspections and monitor the contractor to ensure conformity of electric distribution and/or transmission projects to Customer construction standards. -May be required to interact with a wide range of stakeholders (internal and external) to resolve problems and minimize project delays. -Field check crews, do quality control, handle paperwork and scheduling. -Will represent the Company with assisting the FCC in working with the contractor supervisor/working foreman for the duration of the project to make sure material resource needs are met, construction plan is followed, and project paperwork needed for invoice approval is submitted in a timely manner.

What You Bring

-Good working knowledge through actual use of MS Office products including Excel, -Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in progressive related electric utility industry experience, with transmission facilities construction management -Two (2) years of college is preferred. -Access, Word and MS Project. -Knowledge of SAP is a plus. -Ability to interact effectively with other groups within the Company organization. -Must have extensive knowledge in construction and maintenance of Utility equipment, including but not limited to transmission and distribution systems, underground networks and substations. -Ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences both in writing and verbally. -Basic knowledge of various electric utility assets and equipment.
