  • Work with internal stakeholders to effectively grow and maintain products and services.
  • Generate but also qualify leads effectively.
  • Have a good customer base with key contacts.
  • Be the regional knowledge leader across all Industrial sectors and support future product and service offer to achieve desired growth.
  • Be responsible for maintaining and developing sales volume and vales revenue within existing accounts in the designated sales territory.
  • Maximize Face-To-Face time with customers and prospects.
  • Develop account plans with Distributor Lubrication Engineer (DLE) or Suppliers Field Engineer as appropriate.
  • Utilize direct and MRO routes to market to achieve desired regional growth.
  • Execute exemplary levels of customer service.
  • Support the UK and Europe sector specialists in strategic sector growth.
  • Utilize time effectively between account management and new business to increase the company market share.
  • Use of pipeline process to track, develop and close new business opportunities through Salesforce.

Due to its continuous growth, it is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager. In this position, you will be in charge of the maintenance and development of the specific volume of the industrial lubricants sector in England (UK). This is a remote position in England (UK) with frequent local trips to customers. Experience in the industrial field is highly preferred.

Language: Fluent in English

  • Strong technical and value-added sales ability with track record.
  • Solid experience of Salesforce or other CRM system as pipeline management tool.
  • Strong relationship building capability across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to organize and plan effectively.
  • Experience selling lubricants to industrial customers or similar markets such as industrial filtration, bearings and machinery.
  • Forecasting awareness to ensure optimum stock levels of product are on premises and in pipeline.
  • Experience in leading the coordination of tender submissions and contract reviews.

  • Knowledge of key working practices, logistics, planning and certification.
  • Previous industrial sales or BD experience.
  • Understand legal, commercial, technical and product requirements for tender submissions.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust internally with support functions and externally with our top customers.
  • Computer literate with good presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of regional Industrial customer base.
  • Good knowledge of the UK’s route to markets.
