The Role
Overview
Procures equipment/materials, manages vendor relations, processes orders and invoices.

Tasks
-Responsible for the process of issuing subcontracts, equipment POs, and/or material POs within the proper programs (JDE, IFS, GP, etc.). -At given times will be responsible for all shipping and receiving. -While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk and sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl (for purposes of assisting with project job walks and site inspections). -Responsible for all service calls on copiers and facsimiles. -Responsible for checking in and out of tools from the tool crib. -Handle, coordinate, and assist all ACCO personnel as may be required in a professional and timely manner while maintaining a good working relationship. -Negotiating with vendors to include equipment, materials, and day-to-day purchases to ensure competitive pricing and availability. -Process POs and change orders within required systems. -Responsible for all core credits (compressors) from vendors. -Responsible for all warranty items and filling our warranty tags. -Maintain and update authorized vendor lists for field and sales personnel. -Maintain a professional and ethical relationship with all vendors and subcontractors. -The employee may regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. -Be aware and focused on vendor follow-ups to ensure that all items are due upon dates required. -Review invoices and verifying prices against POs, backup documentation, and inputting costs in proper programs. -Maintain understanding of all items a vendor sells, price trends, and hard to find parts from different vendors.

What You Bring
-Working knowledge of H.V.A.C. parts and equipment preferred. -Minimum 3 Year experience in a related position or industry -Knowledge of “local” contractors including electrical, general, crane, etc. a plus. -Engagement: Shows a knack for using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people. -Proactivity / Initiative: Recognizes what needs to be done and accomplishes it in a manner appropriate for one’s level/position and with minimal supervision. -The employee is occasionally required to reach above shoulder height to access storage cabinets and shelves. -Ability to organize large amounts of information while maintaining attention to detail -Big Picture: Understands and contributes to organizations’ short- and long-term business strategy. On a personal level has independently developed a vision for short- and long-term career success. -College course in a related field (Business, Economics, Management) preferred -Proficiency in Invoice Processing & Finvari Support or single emphasis point of AFE, Online Accounts, Misapplied Costs, Bidtracer Contact Management, Diverse Businesses, SQM, IT Support, or ACCO Online Store within the first 4 weeks. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision. -Ability to demonstrate high customer service skill -H.S. Diploma or equivalent -Ability to work effectively and professionally in a team environment -Strong business writing skills, including use of proper grammar and terminology. -Knowledge of “local” manufacturer’s representatives and dealers. -Teamwork: The ability to effectively work toward common goals with others by supporting, encouraging, and sharing information in an authentic and approachable manner. -Problem-Solver: Ability to identify, analyze, and solve a problem in support of personal, group, department, or organizational objectives. -Proficient-plus level user of MS Excel and MS Word -Strong verbal communication and listening skills, both over the phone and in person -Insight: The ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities. -Ability to demonstrate accuracy and detail-oriented approach to data entry -Must be goal oriented and meet deadlines
