Tasks

-Interface directly with sponsors, lenders and equity providers, alongside senior team members. -Research local real estate markets to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. -Assist in reviewing and organizing property-level due diligence materials such as rent rolls, operating statements, leases, budgets, and third-party reports. -Assist in the preparation of client engagement agreements, offering memoranda, lender packages, and investment summaries for internal and external distribution. -Build and maintain detailed Excel-based financial models for a variety of asset classes and business plans (development, value-add, stabilized). -Request and coordinate transaction documentation, timelines and maintain data room integrity. -Ensure required closing documentation is posted to internal systems. -Conduct market research and help prepare competitive analysis, supply/demand studies and demographic reports. -Support senior team members in the execution of capital markets assignments, including debt placements and equity raises.

What You Bring

-Proficiency with CoStar and other data sources. -Strong analytical and quantitative skills. -Strong financial modeling skills and core competence with Excel and Argus. -Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and productively during time sensitive situations. -Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or commercial real estate. -Ability to work independently with a team player attitude. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -High attention to detail in analytical assessments and valuations. -Solid understanding of real estate fundamentals and capital structures. -Flexible attitude with the ability to handle change effectively. -3 to 5 years of commercial real estate experience in advisory, banking, or valuation. -Availability for North American travel. -Experience with PowerPoint and other presentation software.
