PIT Technician

Overview

Operate forklifts and PIT equipment to safely load, unload, and move materials.

Tasks

-Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues or maintenance needs. -Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift. -Maintain a clean and organized work environment. -Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. -Load and unload trucks, stack and organize pallets, and transport goods to designated areas. -Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. -Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures. -Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks as needed. -Work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature. -Operate forklifts and other PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment to move products and materials.

What You Bring

-Basic computer skills for logging maintenance records. -Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. -Customer service experience -1 year of similar work experience -High school diploma or equivalent. -Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. -Must be 18 years of age or older -No high school diploma, GED or college degree required -Comfortable working around moving machinery and in high-traffic areas. -1+ year of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, preferably with PIT equipment. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures. -Ability to lift up to 49 lbs. -Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
