Tasks

-Management and development of others including buyers and procurement administrators. -Negotiate and meet with suppliers and work to project and bid timelines. -Use Skanska’s Oracle ERP system to place orders, manage tenders and run reports. -Minimise the cost of plant and materials and services to Skanska whilst supporting the need for a safe and sustainable supply chain. -Support the business in use of framework agreements and supply chain performance reviews. -Produce tender recommendation reports/activities for procurement management approval.

What You Bring

-Experience of negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors. -Experience of procurement in the construction industry, including main forms of contract (NEC, JCT, CECA (ICE)). -Experience of using Office 365 software, specifically MS Excel and multiple purchasing systems. -Membership of professional body (RICS, CIPS) or working towards. -Degree level education or qualified by experience.
