The Role

Overview

Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections for retail store HVAC, plumbing, and other systems

Tasks

-Leads troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: HVAC, plumbing systems, roofs, drains. -Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes' maintenance and repairs, records as required. -Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements. -Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to finish the tasks. Uses CMMS to manage work orders and track completion. -Performs furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed. -Report and communicate daily all work activity via PDA device -Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors. -Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety laws. -Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC/R, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client. -Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

What You Bring

-Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks -Excellent social skills, including oral and written communications -Uses computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, and training. -CBRE is unable to sponsor work visas for this role. -High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training. -Incumbent must pass a background check, drug screen and physical testing. -Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. -Possess necessary skills to functionally operate a "full size" van/truck -Universal CFC or EPA certification preferred.
