The Role

Overview

Lead construction site inspections, inspection planning, and client liaison for infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Participate in team-building and community support activities with a team that has been certified as a “Best Workplace” for five consecutive years by our employees and Great Place to Work®. -Plan and oversee the implementation of the Inspection Plan during Construction while in consultation with the members of the design team. -Conduct & complete site inspections and reports including photographs in support of construction Period services. -Work on meaningful projects that impact communities globally. -Liaise with the relevant Building Control Authority as and when necessary. -Attend site and design team meetings as and when necessary. -Carry out inspections and maintain records of same utilizing our bespoke site inspection and document management software. -Prepare project specific Preliminary Inspection Plans and Inspection Plans as Implemented. -Focused on client service in all interactions with team members and clients. -Network regularly promoting the business, cross-selling and building new contacts and enhancing client relationships; resolves issues promptly.

What You Bring

-Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English. -Good analytical and interpersonal skills combined with sound judgment and initiative. -Professional Accreditation or Intent on developing accreditation in one of Engineering, Building Surveying, Architecture, Registered Building Surveyor SCSI, RIAI (Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland), Engineers Ireland, MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). -Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience. -Excellent communication skills. -University Degree or equivalent to any of the following: Construction Engineering, Building Surveying, Architecture. -Extensive technical knowledge of Building Regulations and Building Control Regulations. -Holds a valid driver's license. -IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office
