Manage all operational functions of a branch, overseeing staff, logistics and safety.

Tasks

-Work with the Regional Vice President to develop and implement standard practices and efficiency recommendations -Push 100lbs and pull 100lbs horizontally -Maintain proper staffing levels to meet and exceed customer and branch needs -Sit while answering phones or reply to emails -Responsible for fleet DOT administration including, log books & record maintenance -Create and maintain a positive, safe, and effective work environment -Review and approve e-time punches prior to submitting for payroll processing. Review and approve time off request forms and schedule time off based on operational necessity -Work with various departments to resolve customer service & delivery issues. Work with Operations Managers at other branches to coordinate asset transfers -Analyze and report on operational activities, i.e., service levels, routing efficiency, labor & overtime, and fuel -Speak clearly so customers can understand -Direct oversight of dispatcher/routers, service technicians, pick up & delivery drivers, yard personnel, fence crew(s), and shop -Administer the company's safety program at the branch. Work with Safety & HR departments to safety coordinate training, where necessary -Repeat the same movements -Pull trailers with company vehicles -Review of all paperwork including manifests, routing tickets, DVIRs, etc. for completion and accuracy -Responsible for employee development & conducting periodic performance reviews -Sit while driving and stand while servicing products -Work directly with other departments to ensure excellent/positive communication within the region -Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling -Repeat the same movements when entering data at the computer -Operate a variety of company vehicles -Monitor all service levels and deliveries to ensure the best efficiencies. Recommend measures to improve operational practices and quality of customer care -Use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls

What You Bring

-Have experience with multi-stop routing systems & dispatch procedures -Valid Driver License (Class C) -Computer knowledge (Navision, Microsoft Office & routing/logistics software) -Lift up to 40lbs from your waits to your shoulders -Crouch and squat -Lift 30lbs from the floor to your head -Knowledge of proper cleaning & repair of those assets -Strategic Decision Making and Problem Solving -Knowledge of financial statements -Walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion -Experience managing a budget -Understand the speech of another person Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them -Knowledge of all company assets in inventory -Time Management -Excellent written and verbal communication skills
