Part-Time Exterior Porter (Saturday & Sunday, 6AM - 3PM)

Overview

Maintain cleanliness of common areas, perform janitorial tasks and event support on weekends.

Tasks

-Maintains equipment through regular maintenance and preventative care. -Acknowledges, greets, and interacts professionally with property staff and guests, using appropriate protocols. -Follows all cleaning schedules and checklists accurately. -Maintains a safe, clean, and neat work environment by following standards and procedures. -Helps with setup and breakdown for events or public gatherings when required. -Pressure washes areas as assigned by management. -Promptly addresses and resolves cleanliness concerns in a first-class manner that is consistent with guidelines established by the ParkX Management Executive Team. -Fills in for coworkers during their absences. -Completes daily cleaning and janitorial tasks as assigned by the Senior Operations Manager, Janitorial. -Attends team meetings that impact janitorial operations. -Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and cleaning standards. -Work under variable temperature conditions (or extreme heat or cold), under variable noise levels, outdoors/indoors, around fumes and/or hazards, around dust and/or mite hazards, around chemicals and bio-hazards -Notifies management of any situation that may require their attention. -Monitors cleaning supply inventory and ensures safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals. -Ensures all common areas, including sidewalks, lobbies, restrooms, and public spaces are kept clean and presentable. -Reports equipment damage to management. -Assists management teams with special cleaning or maintenance requests as needed. -Completes any required end-of-shift documentation and ensures proper transfer of responsibilities to the next shift. -Always maintains a neat and orderly janitorial closet and storage areas, free of debris and hazards. -Completes maintenance or cleaning tasks according to the company's maintenance checklists. -Documents and reports any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or damages.

-Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment -Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds -Understands and is compliant with cleaning procedures and schedules. -Outgoing personality with ability to relate to diverse group of people and build/maintain strong relationships -Must be customer-focused and results-oriented -Self-directed and able to work independently, with minimal supervision -Is available for weekend and after-hours work, particularly during events or peak periods. -Ability to establish strong working relationships with others in team setting -Exceptional oral communication, active listening, and organizational skills -Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovation -Understands and promotes corporate goals, core values, and departmental responsibilities detailed in the Company org chart and Employee Handbook. -Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and/or reach -Continuous repetitive motions -Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity -Strong problem-solving, time management and communication skills -Valid driver's license without major violations -Exhibits a professional and courteous demeanor with all site visitors. -High School Diploma or Equivalent -Understands and complies with ParkX’s policies on calls outs, time off, and timeliness.
