Overview

Assemble and test valve components, perform sub-assembly, operate equipment, assist inventory.

Tasks

-Performs minor maintenance of tools, and makes minor adjustments to equipment operated -Assist in monitoring inventory and physical inventory counts when needed. -Prepares valve assemblies and parts for testing, including driving studs, hand tapping, and general light assembly -Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition -Assist test set-up -Operates drill presses and hand grinders, and uses some mechanics; hand tools are required to assisting to correct balances and to remove excess metals. -Operates forklift and other rigging equipment -Participates and complies with all safety standards and training
