Overview

Administer hybrid IT systems (Azure, Hyper‑V, VMware) & AD, ensure security & availability

Tasks

-Should be flexible to work in the evening hours to maintain communication with the USA stakeholders. -Identity & Security Management: Oversee identity management (Active Directory, Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access, hybrid integration) and implement security best practices for systems hardening. -Vendor Coordination: Liaise with hardware and software vendors to resolve technical support issues efficiently. -Infrastructure Projects: Perform installation, configuration, and migration of key physical and virtual infrastructure components, including virtualization technologies from Microsoft and Broadcom. -Systems & Network Support: Administer and optimize corporate systems across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud), including Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V, VMware/Broadcom, and enterprise Active Directory. -Disaster Recovery & Incident Response: Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution; support security team in incident response and post-incident reviews to enhance system resilience. -Documentation & Compliance: Develop and update technical support documentation; maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. -Collaboration & Research: Assist Senior Systems Administrators and collaborate on technology research to improve business operations and drive innovation. -Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve complex issues escalated from Service Desk or Systems Administrator personnel; independently manage and monitor Microsoft Azure (including Entra ID, Policy, Resources, and Cost Optimization), Hyper-V, and VMware/Broadcom platforms.

What You Bring

-After a period of 6 months, there will be a transition to a standard day shift. -Strong technical communication and client-facing skills. -28% - of our employees have been with SSOE for 10 years or more. -Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems, and cloud administration. -Proficiency in PowerShell for IT administration and automation. Excellent communication and coordination skills. -Compliance: Maintain a valid driver’s license (requirement may be waived for international assignments). -Proven expertise in managing Azure workloads, on-premises Hyper-V, VMware/Broadcom environments, and enterprise Active Directory. -99% - our CEO’s approval rating on Glassdoor. -4–5 years working experience with VMware, Azure, and Microsoft 365 in enterprise environments; 6+ years preferred. -In-depth knowledge of Windows server deployment and maintenance (on-premises and cloud). -Availability for after-hours emergency support and scheduled maintenance. -US shift (6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST)- for initial 6 months. -Physical Demands: The role may require sitting, talking, hearing, using hands/fingers, reaching, standing, walking, and rarely lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities and other client-specific physical demands may apply.
