Tasks

-Prepare end-of-month schedule reports. -Submit the final baseline schedule to the project stakeholders for approval. -Incorporate the project activities into the baseline schedule using the agreed-upon scheduling software -Identify potential risks and opportunities based on the schedule analysis. -Provide recommendations for schedule optimization and corrective actions, if necessary. -Collaborate with the project team to identify and define the activities required for the project. -Conduct a final review of the baseline schedule with the project team and incorporate feedback as necessary. -Gather information on activity durations, sequencing, and dependencies from the electrical team. -Support planning sessions such as pull planning to align construction sequencing and commissioning requirements. -Develop resource-loaded schedules and provide resource reports to the project team. -Integrate the activities into the General Contractor's (GC) master schedule, ensuring proper alignment and coordination with other project disciplines. -Perform quality control checks on the baseline schedule to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project requirements and best practices. -Collect and review monthly progress data from the team. -Assign resources to the appropriate activities in the schedule. -Update the schedule with the monthly progress data and analyze the impact on the project timeline. -Participate in monthly schedule review meetings to discuss progress, issues, and action plans. -Provide clear, data-driven schedule insights that support executive decision-making and project delivery. -Facilitate schedule coordination meetings with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment and accountability. -Distribute the end-of-month schedule reports to the project team and stakeholders.

Stelic is seeking a Project Scheduler / Planning & Controls Engineer to support a large-scale public works project in Washington DC. This is a hybrid role. The expectation is that the candidate will be onsite as required, typically 2–3 days per week, with some weeks requiring 4–5 days onsite depending on project needs. This role requires advanced scheduling expertise with Primavera P6 to develop, maintain, and analyze cost- and resource-loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules. The Scheduler will provide accurate planning, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring alignment across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover. The position involves close collaboration with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and owners’ representatives to maintain schedule integrity and drive project success. Eligibility/Clearance: Eligibility to Work in USA This is an opportunity to play a central role in delivering a mega-scale public works project instrumental for the Olympics. If you are an experienced scheduler with expertise in project controls and thrive in fast-paced, high-visibility projects, we encourage you to apply. -Available to work on site multiple days per week. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. -Knowledge of schedule risk analysis, delay analysis, and recovery planning. -Experience with cost- and resource-loaded schedules and earned value systems. -Proven experience scheduling large public construction projects. -Primavera P6. -Must be based in or willing to relocate to Haskell, Texas; this is a full-time onsite role. -Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite. -Strong understanding of construction sequencing.
