The Role

Overview

Operate and maintain track resurfacing machinery for Queensland Rail regional assets.

Tasks

-Assist tradesperson with mechanical/electrical repairs and maintenance as required -Undertake accurate and timely administrative and recording duties -Liaise with the Resurfacing Supervisor regarding program requirements -Perform regular servicing and maintenance on all on-track and auxiliary equipment -Operate machinery in compliance with all policies and safe work procedures

What You Bring

-Strong communication skills -All PPE & uniform supplied -Complete Certificate II & III in Rail Infrastructure - Track Surfacing -Demonstrated commitment to safety -Current drivers’ licence -Experienced in operating civil or mobile plant machinery -Must have capacity to travel and work throughout regional Queensland -Must have the flexibility to work some overtime and weekends when required
