Tasks

-To provide technical training in the installation, repair and maintenance of carpenter shop equipment, blade reconditioning equipment, portable, power, and hand tools. -To provide instruction in procedures for establishing preventive maintenance schedules, set up and maintenance of manufacturer's and technical file, of recommended maintenance and operating procedures for construction battalion central tool rooms. -Provide advanced technical training in the installation, repair and maintenance of construction tools and equipment. -Shall have a working knowledge and skills to provide technical training in the installation, repair and maintenance of carpenter shop equipment, blade reconditioning equipment, portable power and hand tools. To provide instruction in procedures for establishing preventive maintenance schedules, set-up and maintenance of manufacturer’s and technical file, of recommended maintenance and operating procedures for construction battalion central tool rooms.

What You Bring

-Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. -Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of tools and equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. -Minimum 5 years of construction inspector experience. -Ability to pass a background check. -Knowledge of Navy and OSHA maintenance and safety standards. -Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. -Previous teaching or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
