  • Assist Engineering, Production, and Set-up personnel with tooling set-ups and new tooling process verification.
  • Consistently keep Tool Room clean, organized, and hazard free
  • Manage new tooling projects through Tool Room to project deadlines.
  • Die maintenance as required (repair, sharpening & cleaning) & record repairs.
  • Work with Engineering and Maintenance for Hydraulic and Pneumatic requirements.
  • Mark up drawings for “as built” conditions for Engineering updates.
  • Support Communications between Engineering and Production
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Manufacture details to print, supporting engineering projects.
  • Construction, Assembly, and Repair of fixtures, dies and jaws.

  • CNC programming.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must be able to understand decimals, fractions, and tolerances.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented.
  • Able to read and understand inspection tools. (Micrometers, calipers, comparator).
  • Ability to program CNC equipment, and safely operate standard Tool Room equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively; self-motivated; self-starter.
  • Must pass a company background check and drug screen.
  • Must also pass a skills-based test.
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Prefer Journeyman Tool & Die maker or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years of tool room experience)
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
