The Role

Overview

Lead construction of wind/solar projects, managing contracts, procurement, HSE and schedule.

Tasks

-Recruit, mentor, and develop future construction team members. -Oversee site activities, contractor performance, and resolve disputes. -Gain approval for construction strategies, resources, and governance. -Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and overall delivery performance. -Drive compliance with HSE and quality standards. -Lead procurement, tendering, negotiation, and management of major contracts. -Act as Project Director where required, representing projects at senior forums. -Coordinate across procurement, legal, finance, and operations for seamless execution and handover. -Provide technical and financial input during project development.

What You Bring

-Degree-qualified in engineering (or equivalent professional experience), with a minimum of 8 years in construction project management, including at least 5 years in utility-scale wind and/or solar. -Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar EPC/OEM contracts and global procurement activities. -Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages desirable); willingness to travel internationally. -Strong technical and commercial knowledge, with proficiency in MS Project and related project management tools.
