Accounts Assistant

Handle purchase ledger, supplier invoices, and CIS subcontractor accounts.

Tasks

-Carry out supplier statement reconciliations -Compile payment runs on a monthly basis, ensuring all supplier invoices are uploaded -Process all purchase invoices and obtain approval for payment -Verify all new sub-contractors in line with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) standards and manage monthly CIS returns -Dealing with supplier queries over the phone and via email

What You Bring

-Previous experience in the construction industry and dealing with subcontractors would be an advantage but not essential -Experience in a similar accounting role -Must be organised, diligent and able to work under pressure -Experience of using Microsoft applications especially Excel
