The Role

Overview

Operate E‑Coat paint line, load/unload panels, assemble cabinets, and handle forklift tasks.

Tasks

-Apply and remove thread protectors, masking tape, and visually inspects parts for conformance to standards. -Load and unload materials into and out of hook burn-off oven. -Operates stacker and fork trucks to move material to and from storage and staging areas. -Load parts to satisfy production schedules and due dates. -Physically mark part numbers on parts, attach paperwork, and dates where applicable. -Operate drop sections, shuttle cars, towers, and rotators to complete the hanging of tanks, cubicles, and racks containing miscellaneous parts. Operate controls in the selection process for color and destination. -Prepare and hang large transformer and regulator tanks. -Break down and hang cabinet kits and other parts on the paint line; including covers, nut guards, and miscellaneous component parts. -Contact supervision or Team Lead for disposition of non-conforming parts. -Make proper hanger and hook selection to hang parts to ensure safe operations. -Unload parts onto pallets or carts without damage to painted surface. -Identify specialty units from paperwork and identify units to assist painters in properly painting and to ensure on-time delivery. -Assemble cabinets and all related hardware for Lincoln Ave.

What You Bring

-Ability to work overtime when required. -Associates must be employed at the time of the payout. -High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. -Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future -Must be able to understand standard shop specifications (shop drawings, process sheets, and measuring equipment, etc.). -Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
