Senior Construction Manager - Infrastructure, Civil and Build

Tasks

-Working as part of the senior construction delivery team, taking direction from construction lead and project senior leadership team (SLT), providing guidance to wider team. -Supporting managers in leading focussed forecast lookahead meetings, providing authority and guidance where required. -Providing comprehensive technical expertise and understanding of Mace onsite Standards for each part of the project, where to find them, and responsible for implementation. -Promoting and drives the businesses priorities through construction to production, digital & data and responsible business. -Identifies and implements continuous improvement and plans, identifies key business improvements. -Owning safety, wellbeing and quality deliverables for specific sections of the project. -Developing and maintaining strong relationships with client and design CMT, knowing QA process to final sign-off. -Contributing to establishing and maintaining health, safety and wellbeing culture onsite. -Developing and maintaining a series of both internal and external relationships. -Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

What You Bring

-Understands and formulates short-term plans to deliver to programme, able to communicate with and coordinate Trade/sub contractors. -You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. -Proven experience in managing multiple large packages of work along with detailed knowledge of construction methodology, process and inherent safety involved. -Have a CSCS card (construction skills certification scheme) and a SMSTS qualification.
