Overview

Represent client at supplier sites, lead quality decisions and improve supplier performance.

Tasks

-Provide expertise in statistical, production and manufacturing, systems controls, process and assembly, measurement systems analysis. -Support supplier capacity studies. -Drive and manage the development of suppliers to Q1 performance levels. -Ensure compliance with Q1, PPAP, Reject Rate, PPM, MSA, and standards such as ISO and IATF. -Support Parts Supply and Logistics (PS&L) suppliers, quality processes, metrics, and systems. -Support special projects and process improvements. -Support the development of processes, documentation, and training. -Support global PS&L Quality competency and acumen. -Take a leadership role to drive quality process improvements with parts packagers and suppliers globally. -Support the development of a global quality metric scorecard for Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) suppliers, quality inspection, and parts. -Manage supplier relationships and data tracking. -Support STA and department metrics.

What You Bring

-Strong program management and computer skills -Experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer in support of current model production parts for an OEM -Minimum of 3 years experience working within a Supplier Quality capacity. -Strong knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes -Bachelor's degree in engineering. -Strong analytical problem-solving skills
