Overview
Manage site environmental, health and safety programs for aviation facility operations.

Tasks
-Optimize safety processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. -Promote a culture of safety by leading by example and encouraging proactive safety practices among employees. -Provide training and guidance to employees on safety standards, regulations, and best practices. -Perform and document a baseline hazard assessment in accordance with 10 CFR 851.21 Worker Safety and Health Program. -Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and improve workplace safety. -Conduct thorough safety investigations and analyses, providing detailed reports and actionable recommendations. -Establish and maintain operating controls to support seamless operations during organizational changes and growth. -Support Government and company site specific job investigations. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into all aspects of the organization’s operations. -Conduct safety inspections. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records and documentation. -Lead and manage occupational safety programs, ensuring adherence to OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements. -Develop and maintain a Site-Specific Safety Plan (SSP) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for site operations and activities. -Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement. -Develop metrics and collect data regarding safety operations. -Investigate accidents and report. -Maintain the following programs: Comprehensive Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, Industrial Hygiene, Fire Protection, Pressure Vessel and Pressure System Safety, Electrical Safety, and Permitting.

What You Bring
-Ability to develop and implement safety programs and procedures. -Ability to lead and drive improvements in organizational safety records. -Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Must possess a valid state driver's license. -Bachelor Degree Desired. -Strong knowledge in risk management, process optimization, and incident investigation. -Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to foster a safety-focused culture. -Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. -Minimum of 2-4 years desired of technical experience directly related to safety management support functions. -Proficient in standard business office software. -Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening. -Be familiar with OSHA 10 & 30, HAZMAT, Industrial Hygiene, Fall Protection, and Hazardous Waste. -2-4 years' experience desired in Environmental, Safety, and Health related duties.
