Tasks
-Research substantive law and prepare various reports as required -Review, interpret and negotiate contracts -Assist in providing legal support for initiatives within the company’s corporate venture capital group -Ensure personnel of newly acquired operations are trained to comply with company policy and federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations -Manage the compliance portion of the due diligence process related to mergers and acquisitions -Prepare reports for the Board of Directors related to the M&A process -Participate in the completion of real estate purchase and sale transactions as part of M&A -Participate in the integration and on-boarding of acquired targets -Assist with employment and human-resources related legal matters -Draft documents, negotiate and provide counsel with respect to mergers, acquisitions, and other commercial transactions

What You Bring
-Law degree (JD) from an ABA-accredited US law school. -Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience as a practicing attorney with experience in M&A transactions. -Admitted to practice law in at least one state.
