Assist in structural design using BIM, Revit, AutoCAD for nuclear projects.

Tasks

-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Gathers required information and collaborate with engineers and multiple disciplines to develop BIM models for foundations and steel structures -Coordinate with other design group team members to review and exchange project information necessary for design and development -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Leverages Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create plans, drawings, and details -Assist in the development of department standards and tools -Represents Kiewit professionally when interacting with owners, contractors, vendors, and external contacts

-Capable of communicating clearly with team members and other disciplines, both verbally and in writing -Understanding of multi-discipline engineering and vendor documentation -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Regular, reliable attendance -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s program in Computer Aided Design & Drafting Technology or a related discipline -Able to communicate via email and use electronic meeting requests, familiar with spreadsheets and databases -Proficient in using computer-aided drafting programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, GEOPAK, or Navisworks, with basic knowledge of current computer operating systems -Able to complete assignments within designated timeframes
