Tasks

-Perform root cause analysis and document recurring issues to feed into long-term fixes. -Monitor and troubleshoot automated data workflows. -Serve as the Tier 2 escalation point for support tickets related to data ingestion, pipelines, and data marts. -Escalate complex issues with clear documentation to Tier 3 engineering teams. -Maintain support documentation, FAQs, and runbooks for common issues. -Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand issues and provide timely updates/resolutions. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data workflows, escalating to Data Engineers or Platform teams when necessary. -Support data quality checks, reporting issues, and recommending corrective actions. -Monitor and track data pipeline health, ensuring stability and uptime. -Manage and resolve Tier 2 data support tickets (pipelines, ingestion, data quality).

What You Bring

-2–4 years of experience in data support, data analysis, or junior data engineering roles. -Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for troubleshooting. -Strong communication skills to interact with business and technical teams. -Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks (experience with monitoring and debugging preferred). -Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, DevOps, JIRA) and documenting incidents. -Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline management. -Bonus: Experience with geospatial or large-scale data sets. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple support requests.
