Estimator – Construction / Electrical

Description

• To produce quality designs and estimates ensuring all specifications and requirements are met to the clients satisfaction
• To retain and nurture existing client relationships for additional business
• To work in cooperation with the delivery team & estimating lead on a day to day basis to allow business objectives and targets to be met
• To ensure all quotations are competitive
• To achieve monthly targets on sales, attend tender meetings, attend construction sites and confidently persuade and promote Omega’s service offering
• To accurately record and update all business activity on our business system
• To monitor market trends and be aware of the market competition

Requirements

• Hold a thorough understanding of tender/bid processes and pricing strategies
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills as required to secure opportunities
• Valid driving license is essential
• Strong customer interface skills
• Experienced within the Lightning Protection industry, with a knowledge of British standard (BS EN62305) would be a distinct advantage
• Ability to understand and translate the needs of the client into a coherent bid
• Possess drive and passion necessary to support growth to the business needs
• Able to build strong customer relationships, secure new business whilst maintaining existing
• Worked in the construction industry within a contracting business
• Well organised with excellent time management skills
