Tasks

-Managing interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories. -This position will support the work of the AECOM Project Manager and Inspector / Quality Assurance -Actively support the other AECOM embedded site staff and specialty site inspectors, and reach-back resources who will provide oversight and technical quality review of progress to support the delivery of a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality. -Developing and controlling budgets and funding strategies Scheduling and coordination of project interactions among existing and occupied facilities. -Employees may be required to maintain additional AECOM sponsored federal training and certifications. -Responsible for managing a singular high profile complex multi-year project embedded at the project site to achieve specified objectives. -Integrating competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes so that project requirements flow smoothly. -Provides objective analysis and sound judgement with application of principles and techniques to evaluate and report project performance from concept study to construction & startup including practical assessment of schedule completion and expected final cost.

Self-directed. -A valid driver's license, US Passport recommended as work is at an border crossing, although travel to Mexico is not a part of the job requirements. -Professional organization Certifications a plus. -Federal (or state/municipal) governmental experience. -Experience participating on integrated collaborative teams supporting and/or managing complex projects -Remote, off-grid, limited access site locations, arctic / sub-arctic, extreme environment experience. -Relocation and/or per diem may be available for this position - TBD. -This position may be subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record Screening. -Have at least eight (8) years of experience performing in this role long-term, multi-year project management activities including but not limited to -Bachelor’s degree in business management or construction management (from an accredited college/university), plus eight (8) years of related experience (YORE). -Land Port of Entry (LPOE), Air Port of entry, embassy / military base or federal secure compound / facility experience. -(\) Due to the nature of the work assignments, applicant must be a US Citizen -or- have a Green Card with 24 mos of continuous US residency in order _to qualify for the required Federal security clearance. Job hire is contingent upon AECOM winning the contract and the applicant successfully completing and passing the contractor adjudication and badging requirements for the HSPD-12 Tier-1 Security Credential. Successfully completing the Contractor Badging process is a condition for employment. Period of Performance (PoP) Jan 2026 - Jun 2032 -Familiarity with Federal contract administration, public contract codes, federal acquisition regulations. -Familiarity with Federal and local government office building projects, with procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements -This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization, sponsorship is not permitted or available. -Applicants must be able to successfully pass Federal Adjudication for an HSPD-12 Tier 1 Security Credential. -Familiarity with construction principles, practices and procedures, familiarity with applicable codes, laws, and government regulations, overlay GSA and CBP guidelines, principles of project management, and field observation and supervision. -Due to the nature of this work assignment, United States Citizenship is required for US work authorization. -Proven Experience performing and supporting the successful completion of similar projects in comparable environments and conditions. -BA/BS + 4 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education -Experience participating on integrated collaborative teams executing construction phase CM/PM support services, Owner’s Representation, field observation, and contract management, closeout and warranty phase management. -This position is anticipated to be fulltime onsite for a minimum of 60mos up to 78 months. While this position does not anticipate required travel into Mexico, having a US Passport is recommended due to the proximity to the international border. -Client background screening and fingerprinting and security adjudication will be required (*) -This position requires someone who can confidently provide the controls and administrative support for an integrated collaborative team on a high profile complex multi-year project at the project site to achieve specified objectives. -Proficiency in using, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, competency with various review and PIMS repository programs, and ability to be trained to use other support software (Kahua, Bluebeam, Procore, etc). -The Construction Project Controller shall have previous experience on projects of similar size and complexity as well as satisfy the requirements listed below. -AECOM background screening and fingerprinting will be required.

Benefits

-Work Schedule is TBD but will likely be five (5) weekday / eight (8) hour workday (possible four (4) day / ten (10) hour workday) with some shifts occurring earlier or later to accommodate cooler weather for placement off specific work items (e.g. Concrete flatwork)
