O&M Process (WET IC)

Overview

Conduct water/wastewater sampling, analysis, reporting, and ensure plant compliance.

Tasks

-Collect and test samples from raw water, treated water, process streams, and effluent discharge points. -Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals and biological samples. -Perform routine and advanced water quality tests (e.g., pH, turbidity, TDS, BOD, COD, DO, chlorine, ammonia, nitrates, etc.). -Continuously monitor the performance of all Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), Ozonation systems, sludge management systems, and biogas generation units. -Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly test reports for internal use and client submission. -Calibrate instruments regularly and maintain calibration records. -Maintain detailed logs of test results, sample IDs, and observations. -Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and glassware in good condition. -Ensure accurate and timely analysis of all parameters as per BIS, CPCB/SPCB, or client-specified guidelines. -Identify performance gaps and take corrective/preventive actions to enhance treatment efficiency and reliability. -Prepare and standardize solutions and reagents. -Participate in audits and assist in compliance reporting. -Ensure compliance with audit and statutory documentation requirements. -Adhere to SOPs, quality standards, and environmental regulations.

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of sludge treatment, Digesters, biogas systems, ozonation, and disinfection technologies. -Must familiar with IS 10500 & can able to perform the test in lab -In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in conventional and advanced STPs (SBR, MBBR, MBR, ASP), disc filters and WTPs.
