Tasks

-Contribute to expanding ERM’s EHS business. Take active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients by developing and expanding client relationships that generate repeat business. -Provide on-site compliance support at client facilities. -Support development and implementation of EHS Management Systems, compliance assessments and audits to ensure effective risk control and regulatory compliance. -Perform EHS compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. -Develop, manage, and implement environmental management systems and programs for clients across the US. -Support multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables. -Help develop and implement innovative H&S programs and strategies that support clients in managing their safety and compliance risks, in areas such as chemical management, occupational health programs, construction, safety management systems, process safety and risk management, and industrial hygiene assessments. -Assess regulatory compliance across various safety programs through audits and review of client programs and systems. -Support construction capital projects providing verification audits of general contractors and field EHS compliance support. -Support production safety in spending time on-site with clients throughout the region to work with Production teams in the planning and execution phase of projects, coordinate or implement training for Production personnel to increase understanding of risks and protective measures. -Support development and implementation of safety management systems and programs for clients. -Manage and develop plans, permits, and procedures for air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, storm water, and wastewater.

What You Bring

-Bachelors or Masters Degree in engineering, environmental science, safety, business administration, or related discipline. -Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. -Be passionate about EHS performance improvement and have experience developing and delivering EHS program solutions. -3-7 years relevant experience in working with organizations on EHS management, leadership/culture, and/or sustainable EHS compliance programs. -BS/MS degree preferred (MPH, Bachelors of Science). -Willingness to travel, within the United States in support of client programs. Up to 60% travel may be required. -Ability to work independently and in a team setting, with guidance and direction. Ability to be adaptable, deal with ambiguity, flexible to changing situations, able to think outside the box, and to identify and respond rapidly to safety issues in field locations. -This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. -Certification in field; CSP, PE, or similar registration highly desirable. -Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision. -Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills; experience writing comprehensive technical reports and the ability to communicate effectively. -Experience maintaining corporate management standards (either as a consultant or an internal compliance officer).
