Finance Timekeeper

Validate and oversee timesheets for ~1,000 staff on Sizewell C construction project.

Tasks

-Assist in developing and refining timekeeping procedures, and onboard and train site teams on time entry protocols -Provide proactive support to internal and external stakeholders, resolving queries as required -Oversee the prompt submission and validation of daily and weekly timesheets for all project staff -Play an active part in creating interactive dashboards and supporting the Finance team in real-time reporting -Support internal and external audits with accurate and timely documentation -Ensure timesheet entries are accurate, complete and compliant with project protocols -Maintain auditable records to meet project requirements and industry standards -Contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and key performance indicator reporting -Generate regular reports on timesheet status and escalate delays or anomalies to senior management -Reconcile hours worked with approved rosters, overtime logs and leave records -Maintain and manage timekeeping records in the designated construction management system, ensuring alignment with HR databases -Collaborate closely with supervisors and team members to resolve any data inconsistencies -Liaise with site supervisors, HR and payroll teams to enable smooth payroll processing
