Tasks
As the Global Business Development Manager (RC Consumables & Capital Equipment) at Schramm Powered by Epiroc, you’ll play a key role in growing our exploration tooling and equipment business and increasing market share, particularly in the RC segment. You’ll support sales teams in local Customer Centres, providing technical expertise, training, and strategic direction. -Monitor key financial metrics (CGP, market contribution, working capital) and implement corrective actions to achieve profitability targets. -Provide accurate, timely forecasts for the aftermarket business within assigned regions. -Develop and implement a global aftermarket growth strategy for parts and service for exploration drill rigs, aligned with divisional objectives. -Partner with Customer Centres to drive sales of parts, consumables, and services, ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention. -Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and aftermarket profitability. -Evaluate and recommend sales channels and distribution strategies to strengthen Epiroc’s leadership in the exploration aftermarket. -Lead or support customer visits, sales presentations, product trainings, and demonstrations focused on aftermarket value propositions. -Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain to coordinate launches, campaigns, and customer programs. -Represent Epiroc at trade shows, conferences, and customer events. -Act as the key liaison between Product Companies, Customer Centres, and customers to ensure alignment in product availability, service delivery, and execution. -Uphold Epiroc’s Code of Conduct, safety standards, and sustainability commitments -Gather and analyse market intelligence on installed base, fleet size, tooling lifecycle, and emerging trends. -Support CCs in developing and executing aftermarket action plans and monitor performance against targets. -Conduct market analysis on fleet utilization, parts consumption, competitor activity, and pricing to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
