The Role
Overview
Supports equipment rental ops via data entry, billing, shipping, and customer service.

Tasks
-Provides customers and vendors with pricing, availability, and specification details relating to inventory and equipment questions. -Provides timely response via phone calls and emails from internal and external customers and vendors for routine information related primarily to equipment and material transactions. -Writes Purchase Orders as directed for inventory, equipment, and job material needs through the company ERP system. -May have responsibility for shipping, receiving, and storing fleet and inventory materials. -Performs routine duties and transactions in purchasing, fleet/inventory counter operations, billing, and distribution in support of equipment rental and construction supply business. -Participates in regularly scheduled safety meetings. -Participates in the continuous improvement plan by identifying opportunities in the current process and voicing potential improvements. -Performs accurate data entry utilizing ERP software for rental and material transactions. -Conducts research on equipment and inventory as directed and updates information in logistics catalog. -Provides follow up on submitted purchase orders and communicates with requestor. -May provide guidance to drivers on the proper storage locations for equipment and inventory items utilizing thorough knowledge of warehouse organization. -Provides suggestions and participates in drafting Small Win communications. -Organizes and consolidates incoming and outgoing equipment and inventory loads and validates transfer tickets to ensure accurate transactions.

What You Bring
-Basic understanding of internal equipment management tools -Occasional activity: Bending, Climbing, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling -Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds -Typically travel is not required -Thorough knowledge of logistics operations including warehouse organization, storage of goods, traffic flow and the fulfillment process from start to finish -Ability to learn the operating systems for data entry -Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner -Proficiency in MS Office -Ability to identify common construction materials and equipment -2+ years rental, warehouse or construction materials experience (Preferred) -Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally -High School Diploma or GED (Required) -Demonstrates fundamental understanding of the equipment rental business as it applies to company by utilizing key operational reports. -In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered. -Ability to provide excellent customer service through positive interaction with customers -Frequent activity: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen -Communication skills, verbal and written
