Tasks
-Develop estimates for the comparison to bids received -Prepare Project level Cost Estimates -Support the client in contractor and engineering negotiations -Develop estimates for Value Engineering change proposal reviews -Utilize various estimating software products -Perform site investigations -Prepare and maintain Project Level Estimates through various stages of a project, representing the total project scope -Attend required project and staff meetings

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology related field, or equivalent -Thorough knowledge of Railroad Construction practices is preferable but not required -Must be able to effectively communicate, possess good interpersonal skills and meet deadlines -Experience with review of Drawings and Contract Specifications -The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. -Full knowledge of computer applications as it relates to Estimation-Hard Dollar or equivalent and MS Office -Min 2+ years’ experience in Cost Estimating
