The Role

Overview

Implement cloud-native DevOps solutions using Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS/Azure.

Tasks

-Design high-level architecture for cloud-native networks and systems -Troubleshoot failed deployments and pipelines -Containerize custom applications -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a variety of tech stacks -Build and deploy helm charts to Kubernetes clusters -Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines to build, scan, publish, and deploy containers and helm charts

What You Bring

-Security Clearance: Must have an active U.S. government Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI SI/TK, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain -Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, e.g., EKS, EC2, IAM, S3 -Education: B.S. in Computer Science. Other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience or certification -Experience writing Dockerfiles and containerizing applications -Competence in building pipelines, preferably with GitLab -Experience delivering a cloud native application -Competence in secret management technologies like Helm Secrets, Sealed Secrets, or SOPS -Experience with Cert Manager, OpenSSL, and Public Key Infrastructure -Experience building helm charts and Kubernetes API objects -Experience deploying to air gapped networks -Experience with GNU/Linux commands, shell navigation, and Git version control -Ability to research and solve complex technical problems independently -Travel Requirements: Minimal -Experience with IaC tools, especially Terraform -Familiarity with OAuth2, OIDC flows, or KeyCloak
