Tasks

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled regional team ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of medicines used across hospital pharmaceutical services in Northern Ireland. Working as part of a multidisciplinary Quality Assurance team, the QA Pharmacist will support the delivery of high-quality testing, auditing, and control systems for medicinal products and related materials, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. -Deliver training to pharmacy and technical staff on quality assurance and control procedures. -Contribute to the development, review, and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and QA documentation. -Assess microbiological and analytical data to ensure aseptic and manufacturing units meet quality and GMP standards. -Act as a releasing officer for overlabelled and repackaged products produced by regional manufacturing units. -Support investigations into defective or recalled products and contribute to quality risk assessments. -Assist in maintaining the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS) and implementing audit and inspection action plans.
