Tasks

-Lead and participate in a variety of business meetings, conference calls and other client meetings and negotiations to help produce the best business outcome and drive transactions to completion. -Advise internal clients on a broad range of commercial, real estate and operational matters. -Manage insurance company relationships in the defense of slip and fall litigation. -Draft, negotiate, and revise lease agreements, amendments, license agreements, letters of intent, guaranties, commission agreements, non-disclosure agreements, hold harmless agreements and cancellation agreements. Review leases to assess landlord and tenant rights, remedies, and obligations. -Lead and participate in projects and initiatives to improve company processes, policies and performance. -Draft, review and edit documents relating to commercial contracts and corporate governance and engage in routine negotiations with contract counterparties. Coordinate due diligence projects related to corporate and compliance activities and litigation matters. -Draft, review and revise procurement solicitation documents for competitive sealed bids, RFP’s, sole source, negotiated acquisitions and other procurements. -Ensures LGP policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supports performance management process. -Oversee risk assessments/response plans; conduct internal monitoring and audit. -Oversee compliance and environmental sustainability. -Draft and negotiate various agreements relating to events, promotions, and sweepstakes. -Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.

What You Bring

-Experienced business lawyer with ability to form strong relationships with business leaders to achieve objectives of the Real Estate functions. -5 - 7 years of real estate and commercial experience at AM Law 200 firm and/or Fortune 1000 company. -Strong technology skills (e.g. Office 365 (includes SharePoint) and Workshare). -JD from a top accredited law school. -The candidate must have a desire to learn, maintain a positive attitude, be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and can build consensus with business partners. -Licensed in New York. -Frequent contact with multiple LGP departments and the LGP executive team. -Global experience; experience working with multi-national companies. -Language: English -Experience in commercial transactions. -Interpretation and Drafting experience.
