Maintaining full compliance with student housing policies, Fair Housing laws, and company standards.
Driving renewal and retention strategy by engaging early with prospects and future residents, ensuring a smooth transition from lease signing through move-in.
Leading the full lease-up process for major renovation student housing project—planning, executing, and adapting strategies to hit key occupancy milestones.
Partnering closely with construction and operations teams to understand the development timeline and ensure marketing and leasing efforts are aligned with unit readiness.
Building and managing a high-performing leasing team, setting daily goals, providing training and feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability and hustle.
Creating compelling messaging that highlights the unique features of a new or upgraded community, leveraging renderings and future lifestyle branding.
Developing and owning local marketing strategy—building relationships with campus partners, local influencers, student organizations, and businesses to drive awareness and referrals.
Generating pre-leasing momentum before construction is complete, including virtual tours, renderings, hard-hat tours, pop-up events, and social media campaigns.
Analyzing traffic, conversion, and lease velocity daily to refine outreach strategies and achieve results on tight lease-up timelines.
Ensuring flawless execution of the tour experience, even when spaces are under construction or unavailable for viewing.

2–4+ years of leasing experience with a proven track record in new development and/or renovation lease-ups in the student or multifamily housing.
Proficiency with Entrata or similar CRM
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially with students and parents.
Experience working closely with construction, marketing, and property operations during property openings.
Proven success in meeting/exceeding occupancy targets in a high-pressure leasing season.
Demonstrated success in launching lease-up campaigns pre-construction and achieving full occupancy before move-in.
Knowledge of student lifestyle trends and Gen Z customer behaviors
Proven experience and ability to lead and inspire a team in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and campus/community events as needed.
