Transport seniors to appointments and activities, maintain vehicle, assist residents.

Tasks

-May assist in running errands for administration. -Transport vehicle to service locations for routine preventive maintenance as scheduled by supervisor. -Taking residents to appointments, errands and/or activities as scheduled. -Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out. -Driving residents to offsite activities and events.

What You Bring

-Must have excellent driving skills and the ability to handle vehicles on wet and/or slippery roads an in inclement weather. -Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds for handling luggage and resident groceries. -Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a driver with passengers. -Must be able to stoop, bend, stretch and squat to load and unload cargo areas and assist residents in and out of the vehicles. -Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude with the residents and team members at all times. -High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic. -Possession of a valid Georgia Driver License and Commercial Driver License (CDL) with passenger endorsement is required. Must have and maintain a good driving record.
