Tasks
-Interpret Technical Documents including plans, specs, and contracts with expert-level precision. -Champion Excellence in safety, accuracy, and efficiency across all assignments. -Mentor Junior Engineers and foster technical growth through hands-on guidance and leadership. -Scope & Budget Projects with accuracy, ensuring timelines and quality benchmarks are met. -Operate Inspection Equipment and perform fieldwork using ladders, hand tools, and safety gear. -Lead Safety Inspections for bridges and tunnels in compliance with FHWA National Bridge and Tunnel Inspection Standards. -Deliver High-Quality Inspection Reports that meet federal compliance standards and drive actionable insights. -Collaborate with Local Agencies & Stakeholders to coordinate inspections, traffic closures, and documentation. -Perform Load Ratings & Rehabilitation Design using cutting-edge tools and techniques.

What You Bring
-Completion of NHI Courses 130055 & 130078 -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and BlueBeam -Ability to manage structural tasks from concept to construction documents -Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing methods -Experience in inspection, load rating, or structural design -Proficiency in AASHTOware BrR, STAAD Pro, MDX, CSI Bridge, MathCAD -Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license -5–8+ years of bridge/tunnel inspection experience -It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment. An employer who violates this law shall be subject to criminal penalties and civil liability. -National certification as a bridge/tunnel inspection team leader -Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited) -Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certificate
