Cadrex CNC Set-Up I - 2nd Shift

Overview

Assist in setting up and operating CNC lathes, performing basic programming and maintenance.

Tasks

-Assist in troubleshooting machining issues and identifying opportunities for process improvement -Assist in the operation of CNC machines to produce parts with tight tolerances and complex geometries -Perform basic CNC programming tasks, such as inputting tool offsets and adjusting machine settings -Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as directed by senior operators or supervisors to ensure quality and efficiency -Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including proper handling and operation of CNC machines and equipment -Assist in the setup of CNC Lathe machines for production runs, including loading materials, securing workpieces, and installing tooling -Conduct routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged components -Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications -Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and productive work environment

What You Bring

-Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred -Ability to learn and follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines -Effective communication and teamwork skills -Learn to interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications to understand machining requirements -M-F, 2nd shift -Doosan PUMA lathe machine experience -2-year technical certification or equivalent experience preferred -Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity, with the ability to operate hand tools and machinery -Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work -Willingness to learn and develop new skills in CNC machining and programming
