Tasks

-Support the firm’s business development efforts by contributing technical expertise in client meetings, proposals, and thought leadership. -Monitor legislative and regulatory development and implementation of best practices in tax compliance, review processes, and technical training. -Provide guidance and technical support to partners, managers, and staff on sophisticated tax issues. -Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert on complex tax matters, including partnership, corporate, and individual taxation. -Collaborate with partners to enhance efficiency, mitigate risk, and strengthen client service delivery. -Perform high-level technical review of tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current tax laws and regulations. -Identify and resolve complex tax compliance and planning issues for high-value clients.

-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. -Ability to take a proactive, consultative approach and translate complex tax matters into practical business solutions. -Proven experience as a high-level reviewer of complex tax returns across entity types. -Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. -Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving tax laws and compliance requirements. -Extensive expertise in partnership taxation, including allocations, distributions, basis calculations, and special transactions. -Proven experience with tax issues related to real estate, financial services, or tax credit industries. -Strong technical knowledge of corporate and individual taxation. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with partners and mentor junior professionals.
