Engineering Managers/Design Managers - Water Services

Lead multi‑disciplinary water projects, delivering design and feasibility studies.

Tasks

-overseeing production of calculations and reports to support those designs, -working directly with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions to their problems, -undertaking strategic studies, feasibility work, outline and detailed designs for a wide variety of water utilities projects including water and wastewater treatment, conveyance and reservoir dam safety, -producing business cases and proposals to enable our clients to fund their projects, -working with our construction partners to improve safety of designs and understand and improve the construction process, -ensuring our designs take account of buildability, sustainability, H&S and environmental requirements.

What You Bring

-Excellent written and verbal communications skills. -Desire to support and mentor more junior engineers towards achieving Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status. -Previous experience in the water sector is desirable although not essential, we would look for technical skills transferrable to an engineering role in the water sector. -Self-motivated and effective team player. -At Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers or another relevant institution. We may consider candidates without this designation if they have suitable experience and can demonstrate a track record of carrying out work at a similar level.
