Tasks

-Provide daily direct program, analytical and acquisition management support to the Office of Business Operations. -Support government efforts to monitor, assess, analyze, and report on prime and vendor performance of contracts. -Build and perform acquisition training for program management and project personnel -Serve as DoW acquisition subject matter expert in support of client office and advise client Acquisitions Manager of DoW acquisition requirements and program office needs. -Develop specific process for the acquisition of services by each department. -Develop a system of record for all contracts and disseminate information as needed. -Partner with client Acquisitions Manager and program office Directors to determine acquisition paths that both meet mission requirements, while reducing redundant contracts and confusion. -Develop program office specific process in alignment with DoW acquisition guidelines.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) is required. Proficiency in Power BI or other business intelligence tools is highly desired. -Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations. -Exceptional client-facing communication skills. -Experience working with Senior Executives in the Government, preferably the DoW. -This position requires a Master’s degree from an accredited institution and 15+ years of relevant professional experience in acquisition. -Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers. -Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail. -Understanding of DoW acquisition policy and program execution. -Strong writing and analytical skills. -Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer. -Highly organized. -Ability to work under pressure and to adapt quickly in a changing environment. -Demonstrated experience with DoW is required
