The Role

Overview

Assist with office renovation/design projects, drawings, site visits, and coordination.

Tasks

-Maintain and update Calgary office space architectural, electrical, and mechanical as-built drawings to ensure they are up-to-date and consistent -Provide a design resource to the department through help in selecting products and finishes -Oversee and coordinate with trades on small office project -Design audio visual layouts for upgrades to the Canadian Natural meeting rooms -Learn the design process from start to finish through initial planning and concept, through the design development, and finally onto the construction phase -Site visits both in Calgary and field locations to perform site measurements and information gathering ahead of construction projects -Update and maintain design manuals, specifications, CAD standards -Prepare architectural and construction drawings for potential construction projects for Calgary and field office projects -Provide design ideas for workplace efficiency, employee satisfaction, and company growth

What You Bring

-Previous project management experience would be an asset -Knowledge of office interior construction is required -Experience in the preparation of construction drawings -Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite -Currently enrolled in your 2nd year or higher of an Interior Design, Architectural Technology or related program
