Overview
Perform field layout and verification of MEP systems using survey tools and BIM coordination.

Tasks
Perform field layout, measurement, and verification of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Support quality control by ensuring installations meet design intent, specifications, and tolerances. Maintain survey equipment and ensure accuracy through regular calibration. Verify as-built conditions and document field changes for project records. Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and VDC/BIM teams to coordinate layouts with digital models and drawings. Adhere to all company safety standards and best practices. Use total stations, laser equipment, and other digital layout tools to ensure precise placement of MEP systems. What You Bring
-High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in construction technology, engineering, or related field preferred. -Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BIM models. -Experience with survey/layout tools (e.g., total stations, Trimble, laser alignment). -Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with field and office teams. -Working knowledge of MEP systems and construction methods. -Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. -2-5 years of experience in MEP layout, surveying, or related construction roles.
