Production Coordinator

Overview

Coordinate production flow, communicate across departments, manage orders and inventory.

Tasks

-Receive raw material into ERP System -When requesting a job from a specific work center, need to make sure all parts and BOM items are being provided, and need to work with Material Handlers -Review and follow up with requests from customer service regarding expedites, urgent orders, and WIP status -Run Shortage reports for Purchased items and communicate with Purchasing and Customer Service -Provide estimated completion dates for orders in process -Follow up with orders in process until completion

What You Bring

-Associate degree preferred -ERP and MRP experience required -Basic math and problem-solving skills -Manufacturing experience in metal stamping and injection molding a plus -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus -Attention to detail, quality work, self-motivated, working with all team members to meet production goals are essential qualities -Highschool diploma -Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Office programs
