Tasks
-Defining project scope, schedules, and budgets -Performing QA/QC reviews of reports, calculations, construction plans, and other technical documents -Providing project management and task coordination for various potable water and wastewater projects -Establishing, developing, and maintaining client relationships -Developing detailed designs, construction plans, technical specifications, reports, and cost estimates for pipeline, pump station, treatment plant, and other water utility projects

What You Bring
-Project and task management skills -Proven existing relationships relevant entities in FL -Excellent communication skills -Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline -Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Florida Board of Professional Engineers or ability to obtain registration within 3 months -10+ years of related experience -A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR). -Valid driver's license. -Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines. -Ability to hire, manage, and motivate staff -Ability to work collaboratively and contribute meaningfully to the success of a project team -Experience in business development -Strong technical report writing capabilities -Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and goal/results driven mentality
